Robina Group has launched the next stages of its $14 million CityPods office development in CBDRobina, following strong demand for the first two phases of the project, which are 75 per cent sold or leased.

The developer has released seven new stand-alone dual-level offices, ranging from 163sqm to 304sqm, across stages three and four of the CityPods development, situated on Scottsdale Drive in the fast-growing M1 Business Precinct.

Bennett Constructions started work on the offices this week, which are due for completion at the end of the year.

The first two stages comprised eight offices, now home to businesses including national medical device distribution specialist Pyramed, design and construction management company Airport Consulting Group and property group GC Property.

Just three of the eight offices remain available for sale or lease.

Robina Group general manager Hylton Slater said the take up of the first two stages had prompted the release of stages three and four together.

“There has been good enquiry for the final spaces in the first stages, so we’ve decided to push the button on the next release to ensure we continue to offer diversity in terms of the size and locations of offices available,” he said.

“The new stages will reflect the same cutting-edge architecture as those already built, which have really hit the mark with small to medium sized businesses.

“CityPods gives these companies an opportunity to own or occupy their own headquarters, something they probably wouldn’t have been able to achieve if they had to design and construct it themselves.

“Certainly, we are the first developer in Gold Coast City to offer an adaptable turn-key solution like this.”

Mr Slater said the stand-alone office concept provided a range of benefits for businesses.

“These offices have strong branding opportunities, high exposure and provide a professional ‘shop front’,” he said.

“They have also been designed as somewhat of a ‘blank canvas’, so companies have the flexibility to fit-out in a way that best suits their needs.

“At the same time, high ceilings to the first level, quality finishes including polished concrete floors, a concrete and timber reception desk, feature timber staircase and kitchenette creates a high quality base for the design, while floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood in.”

Mr Slater said the location of CityPods added to its appeal.

“Being at the geographical heart of Gold Coast City in CBDRobina, with easy access to the M1 and public transport, is appealing to a whole range of businesses,” he said.

“CityPods on Scottsdale is located in a well established commercial, retail and residential area, also home to Easy T, Robina Town Centre, Robina Automall, Masters Home Improvement, the Queensland Health Hub and Cbus Super Stadium, so those who move into these offices are in good company.

“The availability of offices in CBDRobina remains tight, with a vacancy rate of just 6.1 per cent, compared to an overall vacancy rate of 16.7 per cent for the wider Gold Coast City, so demand for Robina generally is also strong.”
